What to Look Forward to in 2019

Now that 2018 has come to a close, it’s time to look forward to what the entertainment industry is going to produce in 2019. The past year had several monumental productions such as Black Panther, The Carter V  By Lil Wayne, and the release of many new Netflix Original T.V. Shows. The upcoming year is projected to follow this trend with various significant  projects being put out.

The movie industry is poised for another strong year, however with the recent explosion in popularity of Netflix produced movies, it will be interesting to see how the streaming industry is integrated into the rest of the movie industry. The top movies being released in 2019 include, Toy Story 4, HellBoy,  John Wick 3: Parabellum, The Goldfinch, and Frozen 2.

Toy Story 4, produced by Pixar, and the newest addition to the Toy Story franchise, which last released a movie in 2010 is set to release.

Hellboy, based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, consists of a strongly accomplished cast, including David Harbour, who plays Chief Hopper in Stranger Things, and is directed by Neil Marshall.

John Wick 3: Parabellum follows up the revered first two movies in the series, and the lead role is played by Keanu Reeves.

The Goldfinch is the third novel by author Donna Tartt, and is being transitioned into a movie by director, John Crowley.

Frozen 2, another animated movie, follows up the original hit, Frozen, and is produced by Walt Disney Studios.

When it comes to music in 2019, several artists have announced upcoming albums, however release dates and titles for most are not yet public. These projects include an upcoming album from Tame Impala, Lana del Rey, Schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, and Eternal Atake by Lil Uzi Vert.
