International Food Truck Day Returns

The Foreign Language Department of Tampa Preparatory School brought food trucks for a great worldly experience. Every year, the department brings the trucks to represent parts of the world and their respective cultures. Both Middle School and Upper School enjoyed tasty meals from countries such as Morocco, Italy, Mexico, Philippines and everyone’s favorite crepes from France.
The Foreign Language Department hopes to give insight into the world outside of the United States. “The goal of having a food truck day is to give the students the chance to taste international cuisine, the smaller portions [the food trucks] provide allows students to try more of the different options.” Spanish teacher, MaryBeth Hill, said. Students were given the ability to savor different meals all in one lunch period.
