Many members of the Tampa Prep community traveled far and wide to spend Thanksgiving with their families.
Senior Hudson Khan spent the holiday a bit closer to home, travling to North Florida in Tallahassee.
“It was really nice getting to see my family, especially getting to see my cousins who I don’t regularly see,” Khan said.
While some stayed within the state, others went farther. Math teacher Courtney Schaefer spent her break on the water, on a cruise with her family to the Dominician Republic.
“I had such an amazing time getting to visit the beautiful destinations while with my whole family,” Schaefer said.
Senior Charlie Zeiland, on the other hand, headed across the country to Colorado, where he visited extended family—a tradition he’s kept since childhood.
“Thanksgiving was a perfect time to travel to Colorado,” Zieland said. “I love skiing, and a storm rolled in right when I was there. It was the most fun I have had skiing in my whole life.”
