Winter has come around and basketball season is here. Both the boys and girls Terrapin teams have kicked off their season as of November 28th.
The boys had their home opener against Cypress Creek, with a final score of 73 – 33.
Girls Basketball played away, facing Wiregrass Ranch, with a final score of 60 – 48
With Terrapin wins in the book, it looks like we are off to a great start for the season.
“I am very confident and feel that we will have a very productive season,” CJ Davis (9) said.
Players are content and very excited about what’s to come in future games.
“ I am very happy with the team dynamic and believe we will defeat some hard teams if we continue working together, communicating, and giving our best effort,” Zahara Narain (9) said.
This was very important in the Girls’ rival match against Tampa Catholic and will be a crucial aspect in the boy’s match against Berkeley.
“Coaches are supportive and are pushing players to be their best this season.” Gabby Bush (12) said.
The coaches here at Tampa Prep are invested in their players. They want them to be great not only on the court but also off the court.
As of now, the boys remain undefeated, while the girls are sitting with a record of 3-1.
