Travis Scott and his crew, JACKBOYS, released their first-ever album on Dec. 27 last year.

JACKBOYS was the first-ever album created by this crew. Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Luxury Tax, Pop Smoke and Chase B are in the album and affiliated to Cactus Jack Records. We can also see features from Young Thug, and Offset who are not a part of Travis Scott’s record label.

The album is short only consisting of seven songs. For being such a short album, there are only a couple songs that are good and entertaining to listen to. Those songs being “GANG GANG”, “HAD ENOUGH” and “WHAT TO DO?” These three songs are by far the best songs that the album offers, mainly because of the instrumentals and the lyrics flowing throughout each song.

With the other songs the album offers, “JACKBOYS”, “OUT WEST”, “GATTI”, “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM”, they are very average compared to the other songs in the album. People, including myself, were very excited to hear about this album dropping, but were more disappointed while listening.

Don Toliver, who is featured in three songs, really shows his talent through his singing. Out of everyone who is featured on this album, Toliver is undoubtedly the best artist featured. The album helped him to get even more noticed, so be on the watch for him since he will become the next big artist in this new decade.

Overall, if you haven’t listened to this album I would give it a listen. JACKBOYS can be streamed on almost every music platform so there really is no reason not to listen to it. Remember to stay tuned for new drops by this crew later in the future.
