Aolani Velez, Editor
Aolani is a senior who loves exploring and experimenting with different types of writing. This is her third year as a member of “The Current” and prior to this she was in the class introduction to journalism. Aolani is passionate about cultures and places including her own. Born in Puerto Rico and having lived there for 4 years she learned Spanish. She grew up in Florida but she still visits and is constantly finding out more about her Afro-carribean/Latin roots. In the future Aolani hopes to become a writer and/or photographer while working with wildlife.
